Kirks Accountants was first established in 1984, solely by owner and CEO Gerald Kirk himself. Originally the practice was opened in Mill Park but since has moved offices to University Hill.

Kirks Accountants has experienced significant growth over the last three decades from providing a range of accounting, auditing, business, superannuation, financial and taxation services to over 2000 individuals and small to medium businesses. Since opening the practice he has built up his team, with two more accountants Gillian Samuel who started in 1987 and David Kirk who started in 2012, with also the help of the Administrative Assistants Nancy Kirk who also started in 1984 alongside Gerald Kirk and Kallam Elms who has recently joined the practice in 2019.
